About me
M.A. in Eastern European history, medieval history and sociology (1976, University of Duesseldorf), studied also general history, psychology, philosophy and politics.
Worked in many fields, such as research and teaching (university), as a journalist, editor, writer, translator, event organiser, project initiator, -manager and -evaluator, e-learning consultant, - developer, -manager, small business owner and more.
I gathered a lot of skills and valuable professional and life experience by living and working in different countries, managing multicultural teams.
All my jobs past and present involved a great deal of writing and editing papers, PR material, bids, reports and other business or journalistic writing in English and German. I published books on topics as diverse as Eastern European affairs, feminism, labour issues, web-development, e-learning and various others (see Topics and References).
Presently, I am working on a number of fiction stories (mostly fantasy, fairy tales, and pet bios and stories). You can see some samples here (see Nonfiction and Fiction). The catdragon is the symbol for this and my real cats are my collaborators,especially on our blog.
